HMV portable gramophone model 102 in green, circa 1935

The HMV 102 is widely recognised as marking the pinnacle of portable gramophone design. It remained in production, with minor changes, from 1931 until the late 1950s.

This is an early version finished in green Rexine leathercloth with a matching motor board and turntable felt. The internal fittings are chromium plated. It is in outstanding condition for its age with no damage, marking or staining and has probably seen only limited use.

The gramophone, which retains all its original components including key, has been fully disassembled and sensitively refurbished. It is supplied in full working order with instructions and 100 new needles.
