MP 'Broad Arrow' aviator style hand winding wristwatch, circa 2005

This classically styled watch with its striking good looks is a reinterpretation of the classic pilot or aviator watches of the 1940s and 1950s. It is quite a rarity but we have obtained a few brand new old stock examples from Germany. It is fitted with a simple but very serviceable Swiss RONDA hand-winding movement, which adds to the air of authenticity.

Most of the photos show the watch on a grey NATO strap, which we feel suits it very well and is included in the sale. The original full grained black leather strap (see the last 2 photos) is also supplied.

Model MP 777/1190. Stainless steel case with polished milled bezel and brushed finish to sides and lugs. Polished screw-down back. Large aviator crown. Swiss RONDA cal. 1413 1 jewel hand winding movement. Matt black dial with white non-luminous Arabic numerals and luminous 'Mercedes' hands. Military style 'broad arrow' below 12 o'clock position and stylised arrow to back. Hardened flat mineral crystal.

Grey NATO strap in flexible single piece straight-woven nylon ribbon with polished stainless steel hardware, heat-sealed holes and welded joints plus full grained and lined black leather strap with polished stainless steel buckle.

Diameter excluding crown 40mm; distance lug to lug 47.5mm; width between lugs 20mm; overall thickness 10mm. The strap will fit up to an 8.5 inch wrist.

The watch is new (never worn) and in full working condition. Timekeeping is acceptable for this type of movement (+/- 1 minute per day), but as it requires winding daily resetting is not a problem. There is no original packaging, but the watch will be supplied in a new plain presentation box with relevant information and instructions.
