OMEGA Dynamic III automatic wristwatch, 1997-2000

This beautiful watch, inspired by the Omega RAF Pilot watches of the 1950s, is one of our favourite timepieces. It was the third incarnation of the 'Dynamic' range and only produced from 1997 to 2000, so it is quite rare and increasingly collectable. The watch pictured is on a replacement brushed calf leather strap, similar to that originally supplied, which we feel suits it perfectly. We also have other examples on their original Omega stainless steel bracelets.

Model ref ST 166.0310. Omega cal. 1108 21 jewel self-winding movement (based on ETA 2892-A2), with rhodium plated finish, operating at 28,800Hz with 44 hour power reserve; antimagnetic dust cover. Brushed stainless steel case with OMEGA signed screw back. Scratch resistant sapphire crystal with antireflective coating. Matt black dial with Arabic numerals. Tritium coated luminous hands and hour markers. White outer minute track. Yellow central sweep-second hand with hack facility. Large aviator screw down crown. Quick set date at 3 o'clock.

Diameter (excluding crown) 36.5mm; distance lug to lug 42mm; width between lugs 19mm; thickness 9.2mm. The strap will fit up to an 8.5 inch wrist.

The watches are pre-owned and as such cosmetic condition varies from 8/10 (a few minor marks, visible only on close inspection) to 10/10 (no marks visible to the naked eye). For example, the watch pictured would be classed as 9.5/10. All are in excellent working order and keeping very good time (+/- 1 minute per week). There is no original packaging or paperwork, but each watch will be supplied in a new plain black presentation box with relevant information including serial number and instructions.
