SMITHS 8 day high-domed wall clock with 12 inch dial, 1960
This is a rare, unusual and eyecatching clock. With its distinctive 12 inch high-domed glass, it would not be cost-effective to manufacture such a clock today.
The clock is in very good to excellent condition, although there are few marks to the enamel on top of the pressed steel case (pictured). The domed dial and glass are secured in the pressed steel case by spring clips.
It is powered by the well proven Smiths 8 day 2 inch movement with platform escapement and will run for over a week on a full wind.
The clock has been disassembled, cleaned and serviced. It is supplied in full working order with instructions on setting up and regulating plus guidance on aftercare.
